Andhra Maha Vishnu temple is located in Srikakulam in Krishna District.
Srikakulam is the first capital of Satavahanas. This is the place where the great Vijayanagar empire king, Sri Krishna Devaraya composed his poetical magnum opus, "Amukta Malyada". Amukta Malyada is the story of wedding of Andal with Lord Vishnu.
